Over the course of the year, students in World Humanities will be asked to revisit four questions that are central to our inquiry:
- Are people of the world more alike than different, or more different than alike?
- Why should we care about what happens in the rest of the world?
- What purposes and functions does artistic expression fulfill for individuals and cultures?
- What social institutions oppress or limit oppression, and how are they perpetuated?
Confused about some of the words or concepts in these questions? Consult this vocab page.
